Chemical Physics Student Meetings

Monthly student meetings are designed to maintain contact among the Chemical Physics students, foster program cohesiveness, and provide students with the opportunity to practice presenting research in an informal but public setting. These meetings are also a forum for the Chemical Physics Program and the Graduate School to provide students with information about topics such as finding a research advisor, housing, teaching assistantships, and MEI testing.

Bi-weekly Chemical Physics student meetings are held in the IPST building, room 1116. The purpose of these meetings:
  1. Keep in contact with other CHPH students and maintain a cohesive nature of the program
  2. Discussion of requirements of the Program and the Graduate School
  3. Discussion of research and establishing networks
  4. Talks given by CHPH students concerning their present research
  5. Invitation of speakers from other university departments and administration offices
This is an excellent opportunity to welcome and meet the current Chemical Physics students, to learn more about their research and the University.
